Breaking Free: Day 17 of #SmokingChickenFish 🚬🐔🐟
#NerdyInvestors spilling the 💨
Hey fam! Can you believe we’re 17 days into this journey? 🙌 Let’s talk about something real today — breaking free from that desk that’s holding you hostage!
You know that feeling when you’re glued to your screen, shoulders tense, mind racing? Yeah, that’s not the life we’re meant for. God didn’t design us to be desk potatoes! 🥔 → 🏃♂️
Divine Wisdom Speaks 📖
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and all I will give you rest” — Matthew 11:28
This isn’t just about physical rest — it’s about finding that sweet spot where your soul feels at peace. When you’re out there, grilling that 🍗 or catching that 🎣 , you’re not just cooking — you’re living!
Take That Leap! 🚀
Listen, I get it. The “what-ifs” can be scary:
- What if I miss an email?
- What if my boss needs me?
- What if, what if, what if…
But here’s the truth 💣: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). That sound mind? It needs fresh air, movement, and sometimes, the smell of smoky goodness!
Your Permission Slip ✅
Consider this your divine permission slip to:
- Take that lunch break AWAY from your desk
- Step outside for prayer walks
- Fire up that grill when inspiration hits
- Cast that fishing line when your spirit needs calm
Remember: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). Sometimes, understanding comes when we’re NOT staring at a screen!
The #SmokingChickenFish Challenge 🎯
This week, I challenge you to:
- Take THREE opportunities to step away
- Document your outdoor cooking adventures
- Share your story with our community
- Inspire someone else to break free
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13) — including stepping away from that desk! 💪
Remember: You’re not just cooking 🐓 and 🐟 — you’re feeding your soul, moving your body, and living the life you were created for! Let’s get out there and make it happen! 🙏🔥
