Alright, let’s get real for a minute. Humility’s been heavy on my heart lately. We’re all grinding, trying to reach our goals, and it’s frustrating as hell when others seem to be cruising on the high road while we’re slogging through the muck. I’m in constant prayer, wrestling with whether I should listen to God or just do what I think is best for Nerdy Investors. But here’s the kicker — I know deep down that God’s got my back.
The Tug-of-War Between Faith and Self-Will
I get it. It’s tough. Sometimes, it feels like I’m running on empty, questioning if what I’m doing even matters. I see others killing it, and yeah, I feel amazing too, knowing I’m doing something special for a greater purpose. But why the hell do I still feel like I’m not enough? Is it the negativity creeping in, trying to derail me from my mission?
Trusting in God’s Plan
Here’s the truth: our journey is our own. God’s plan for each of us is different. Some days it feels like others are flying while we’re crawling. But that’s okay. Our path requires patience, resilience, and a boatload of faith.
Philippians 4:13 (NIV): “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV): “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
These verses remind us that our strength comes from God, and by trusting in Him, our paths will be made clear. It’s not about the speed of the journey but the faith we have along the way.
