Day 3 of my writings w/Jesus. We’re gonna make it!

As I enter the third day of my intentional journey with Jesus, I can’t help but observe the curious way I find myself at odds with… well, myself. It’s an amusing, yet enlightening realization. Every time I set my mind to something, a part of me instinctively searches for excuses, for reasons to halt, to question. But then, amidst this self-imposed chaos, a deeper understanding emerges. This journey isn’t just about connecting with Jesus; it’s about confronting and understanding the greatest challenge I face: myself.

The Greatest Hurdle: Ourselves

It’s a revelation that might sound a bit cliché, but it’s profoundly true. Our biggest enemy, our most significant hurdle, often lies within us. It’s in the doubts that cloud our judgment, the fears that hinder our steps, and the insecurities that shadow our ambitions. Jesus, in His infinite wisdom and love, is ever ready to support, to uplift, and to guide. Yet, the real struggle is accepting His help and believing in His plan for us.

Finding Pride in the Walk

There’s a unique sense of pride that comes with this realization. It’s not the pride of arrogance, but of awakening. In managing myself, in navigating through my inner conflicts, I am growing, evolving. The realization that I might be exactly where I need to be, doing precisely what I should be doing, is liberating. It’s an awakening to the idea that my journey with Christ is not just about spiritual growth but personal development too.

Conversations with the Self: Conversations with Jesus

One of the most remarkable aspects of this journey has been the understanding that when I talk to myself, it’s not just a solitary act. In those moments of self-reflection, I’ve come to realize that it’s often Jesus who’s speaking through me. It’s His voice that guides me towards clarity, His wisdom that shines through the doubts and fears.
