Let it be God’s battle
There are days when the urge to go full Tasmania devil on everything is overwhelming. It’s like there’s this relentless push to take drastic actions, to tear down and rebuild, to find immediate solutions to the chaos. But in those moments, I feel Jesus holding me back, begging me to trust in God’s plan. So, I parked my ass. I sat by the water, put on my gospel music playlist, and started writing. Slowly, I began to feel better.
Earlier, I got into a tiff with my mother-in-law. We still haven’t figured out our love language towards one another, and it’s frustrating. To cope, I smoked some weed and gave thanks for what I had, even as I stressed about running out. It felt like I was disrespecting myself and undermining God. My mind can be a negative trap, but I’m proud because Nerdy Investors go through very tough times and emotional distress.
Unfortunately, our government has enabled us to be attacked domestically. We’re being held hostage and manipulated by the media. Our representatives have left the building, in some cases even the country. Is this what it was like for aspiring leaders when Jesus came and saw we lived in decay? How are we to fix this? We just pray, study, research, and take advantage of opportunities to accumulate so that there comes a time when we are able to fulfill God’s will. We pray to be ready.
As an investor, you either lean on your own understanding or give it to God. You trust in your most confident friend — that’s Jesus. Everything you go through will come to pass. God’s way, we have to trust, is going to lead us to a spiritual leveling up. Nerdy Investors will offer safe places for us to come to, be informed, and grow together.
Jesus is here, and we all will make it.
