Nerdy Investors Thoughts: The Importance of Knowing Ourselves
Going Off My God Instincts
I’m going off my God instincts. In the Bible, it sermons about how we are to create fellowship and community based on what we’ve been taught by Jesus. I know Jesus has and would never stifle His disciples’ plans to bring more to Him. Is it His way? Yes, whatever God wills will come to pass.
There’s a fine line between being invested in Jesus and just being invested. I feel there are so many people losing interest because we’re not going to the root or the foundation. We expect miracles, then get pissed when they don’t happen.
I actually started really learning how to invest with #Bonk. I’m a huge fan and supporter of #Solana and #Ethereum. I love NFTs for their artistic value, something that holds value and gets me into places. But guys, the thing is it all leads back to God, through His son, Jesus. I can’t help but wonder how He would react if He showed up right now. Are we on the true path He set us on? If your answer is yes, then why aren’t you more focused on fellowship, learning about yourself, and learning about God?
In my community, most of my friends abhor the word “church.” It triggers their PTSD. We are on the blockchain trying to get people interconnected, but Web3 is no different than real life. I treat it as such. That’s where we’re lacking. We have our cliques online, but many of you are afraid to break the barriers. Through Christ, anything is possible.
The devil is hard at work, but the angels are working just as hard. I listen to a lot of music on repeat. “10,000 Armies.” God’s army is stronger. I’ve fought just about every battle at hand. I’ve had what many call disabilities; I call them my special powers that God gave me. I’ve struggled all my life, but there’s no bond anyone can break. We all are different. Embrace it. That’s what Jesus taught. The bottom line is no matter what faith you practice, what you do is between you and God. Your purpose, through our individual stories, is to bring more to Life.
Let’s get back to the essence of fellowship and community, just as Jesus intended.
In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it’s easy to forget who we are at our core. As Nerdy Investors, it’s essential to remind ourselves of our true identity and values. This isn’t just about our investments in the financial world but about investing in our spiritual and emotional well-being.
Faith Beyond the Church Walls
Sometimes, people want to talk about faith in a non-church setting. That’s my philosophy and how I see Jesus. I follow Jesus and believe in creating spaces that bring people together, as the Bible encourages, to foster true fellowship.
Why It Matters
1. Self-Awareness and Growth:
Understanding who we are helps us grow. It allows us to align our actions with our values and beliefs, leading to a more fulfilled and authentic life.
2. Building True Community:
When we remind ourselves of our faith and identity, we can create deeper connections with others. The Bible emphasizes the importance of community and fellowship. As it says in Hebrews 10:24–25 (NIV), “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
3. Finding Strength in Faith:
Life is full of challenges, and our faith can be a source of immense strength. As Jesus taught, love and support from a community can help us overcome obstacles. John 13:34–35 (NIV) reminds us, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Creating a Fellowship
At Nerdy Investors, we aim to create something that not only brings people together but fosters true fellowship. This isn’t limited to church settings; it’s about finding and nurturing our faith in all aspects of life. It’s about breaking barriers and forming genuine connections, whether online or offline.
Living Our Values
Our investments in cryptocurrencies like #Bonk, #Solana, and #Ethereum, and our interest in NFTs, are part of our identity. They reflect our desire to explore new frontiers and connect with others. But at the heart of it all is our faith and the teachings of Jesus. We aim to live our values and encourage others to do the same.
Conclusion
Let’s embrace our faith and identity in every setting, creating spaces for true fellowship and community. Remember, through Christ, anything is possible. Let’s keep reminding ourselves of who we are and the values we stand for, building a stronger, more connected community together.
